Trade and economic relations between Egypt and America were affected during the past year due to the Corona virus pandemic and the closure of the global economy, according to a report by the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt.Įgypt’s exports to America decreased by 31% during 2020 to reach $2.2 billion, compared to $3.2 billion in 2019.Įgypt’s oil exports to America plunged 59% to $491.8 million in 2020, and non-oil exports recorded a 14% drop to $1.7 billion.
